Meet The Board
Britt served as Vice President during the ‘22-‘23 school year. She joined the Drama Boosters in 2021. Britt fell in love with theatre in eighth grade when she portrayed King Hamlet’s ghost in a school play.
She continued acting in high school and college, grateful to be in the company of such kind, talented, and creative peers. Now, as a mom, it’s meaningful to see both her sons experiencing the same feeling as part of the THS Drama community.
Britt works as a technical writer and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She and her family enjoy road trips, camping in the redwoods, seeing concerts, and attending as many live plays and musicals as possible.
Venus has worked in the Templeton Unified School District for seventeen years as a Performing Arts Technician, ELD Teacher, and School Librarian at Vineyard Elementary School. She was also a Performing Arts Consultant in establishing the Fine Arts Academy in Atascadero. She runs the VES Drama Club for Grades 3-5, which is where many of our THS Drama Students first start their drama experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Library Science degree. She and her husband and three children live in Templeton, they enjoy board games, hiking, reading, live theatre, attending concerts, art, watching movies, and spending time together as a family.
Brynn is currently pursuing her master’s in psychology at Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology, taking a sabbatical from her 15-year career in Human Resources which took her family from Los Angeles to Oakland to Portland and finally back home to the Central Coast. Brynn continues the work of her grandmother, Donna Berg, founder of the Paso Robles Youth Arts Center, through volunteering in local art and theatre and lives in the Templeton-Paso Robles area with her husband, two kids, and grandmother. They enjoy soccer, the beach, animals, music, art, and theatre.
Sarah is the owner/operator of Templeton Vacation Rentals, active in both school and community causes both through her business and personally, including Must Charities, Templeton Women's Charitable Club, and Templeton Education Foundation. Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Arizona, an MBA from Cal Poly SLO, and was born and raised in SLO County. She and her husband, Scott, reside in Templeton with their two children. They enjoy Red Sox baseball, camping, live music, and of course, theater!
Leslie is the mother of three boys who love drama, and two girls. She joined a team of officers to give back just a little bit to this amazing program which has created a supportive and loving environment for her kids, given them an outlet for their creativity, humor, and talents, and provided hours of entertainment, both tears of joy and humor.
All the drama kids are a joy to be around, and her family is so grateful for this program. When she's not doing something to support her kids, she's dating her high school sweetheart, cooking up delicious food, or reading a good book.
Vicki van den Eikhof
Vicki passionately believes that every person on this earth is born to be creative. It is imperative for our survival as a species, as well as our personal happiness, that we discover our creative outlets and learn to use them to make the world a better place. Arts education is a vital way of doing this. Every child deserves an arts education--performing arts, visual arts, dance/movement, music, creative writing, and everything in between. In 2014, Vicki created the THS Drama Boosters to support the drama program. In 2018 she helped create the Templeton Performing Arts Center Foundation to develop community support and raise money for the TPAC. These non-profits work together with our beautiful theatre, passionate teachers, and students, to build up and reinforce a community of invested supporters and audience members.
